Hey all, I read one book this month. Here it is:
The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett: I love this book. It's the second in the Discworld series by Pratchett, and it follows Rincewind the wizard as he reluctantly saves the world. With one of the eight great spells stuck in his head, Rincewind, though inept, is basically impossible to kill. With the help of Twoflower, the Disc's first tourist, and the luggage, which has 100 legs and a mind of its own, Rincewind faces druids and heroes, other wizards and creatures from the dungeion dimensions. It's a little more clunky than the later books in the series, but I will say this: It deals with the faculty of Unseen University, which always makes it a winner in my book. Any author that can satirize a faculty so completely and so accurately deserves all the ice cream he can eat and then some.
That's it for my reads, kids. Feel free to share your own in the comments.

The Remains of the Day By Ishiguro: LOVED IT! Apparently nobody else in the book club did however. I can't really explained why I loved it, I think I just identified with the main character.
The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursala Le Guin: I had a lot of problems getting into this book, but once I was in it was easier to read and I did eventually get engrossed in it. It's an interesting study into humanity and what makes us human. I seriously have been thinking about it all day since I have finished it, and that's always the sign of a good book for me.
Wolf Hunting by Jane Lindskold: 6th in a series. The series is basically about a woman raised by smart wolves and then reintroduced to human society. Magic and animal language play a large role generally, this was just further adventures.
Born in Blood and Fire by John Chasteen: I completed about half this book, it was great reading more about history and getting reaquainted with colonization.
