"If I danced on my feet as I dance in my dreaming
As graceful and gleaming as Death in disguise
Oh, that would be sweet, but then would I hunger
to be ten years younger, or wedded, or wise?"

Posted by: lord palmerston at August 19, 2005 02:11 PMLOL. I was more meaning ugh in regards to the fact that that's exactly what I would be like: Get what I want and then want something else entirely. :)

I love that book, I need to read it again, it's been at least a year. Unfortunately I am up to my ears in Harry Potter and I have to say I really like reading the whole series in order, but then I am only on book 5 right now.
Posted by: 10lees at August 20, 2005 07:36 PMbeing satisfied in the present is a hard task... i'm usually pretty good, and i owe it all to one thing: my ability to settle. good and bad at the same time, it allows me to thoroughly enjoy and deal with exactly what's on my plate. granted, i have yet to make any good solid career changes, i have yet to fill out papers that determine the rest of my life and i have no food in the house. mac and cheese for supper tonite. and i'll be happy with it.
