Pratchett Has Alzheimer's

The world is, quite frankly, over. There's no other wa to say it.

My favorite author, Terry Pratchett, has early onset Alzheimer's.

The man is prolific. He writes two books almost every year. I was looking forward to at least 40 more books from him.

All literary considerations aside, though, I am so sad for him and so sad for his family. I know someone who has this, and it is devastating.

Worst. Day. Ever.

could be interactions with his meds - that what some altimers (sp) mask themselves as ... I've had to adjust my mom's pills a ton of times to get the right dosage. It's a full-time job.
Sorry this is such rotten news - I'm sure he can put out a few more books though - early onset means there's still more time! :)
